Thank you Helen & Michalis for such a wonderful holiday. From the day one you made us so welcome and solve our car problems? dinner-we loved all the fresh garden produce and local wine and oil. You have a piece of paradise complete with visiting Barn-Owl. Jerry so enjoyed playing his guitar the music floating across the valley.
We felt very priviliged to be invited into you home for a delicious meal in the most amazing surr0undings an amazing- summer and a full moon-.How did you do that?

We came here with all our extended family in all three villas for my brother's wedding-something we had all been looking forward to for 2 years. We were not dissapointed-everything is wonderful-our only problem was to getting the kids out of the pool! We have all been treated to Cretan hospitality and will never forget the wedding with all the food and local dancing! We are just so pleased Ben married Nicole and now we have a great exsuse to come back to Chania. A great family holiday made better by a comfortable stay here.

Lovely villa, stunning views, convenient for beach and bustling Hania(beter to use the bus from Galatas)-what more could you ask for? Our memorable moments are the drives to the Samaria Gorge, Elafonisi and the bohemian little resort of Paleohora.
Brendan,being a keen gardener,really enjoyed his conversations with Mike about the various crops-too many to mention!
Altogether a great holiday-we will be back

Thank you for creating this very special setting in Crete. We had high expectations for the Villa and the Island, and they were far exceeded in reality once we found the Villa and began exploring western Crete. All of Mike's recommendations where excellent. We found the museum he set up moving and appreciated his sharing word of it, as well as stories of his father,with us. It's really heart warming to listen to a man who so very obviously admires his father and loves his part of Crete its history. Lovely Helen, warm and generous thank you for your extra "wedding goodies" and gracious hospitality. We hate leaving and only hope that our experience in the Eastern 1/2 of Crete is 1/2 as wonderful as this week in your Villa.

This was our first visit to Crete and all has exceeded our expectations helped by the marvellous Villa and the friendly hospitality of Helen & Mike-from the goodies and the helpful advice about where to go. When we have been able to prise ourselves away from the views on the terrace we have loved the bustle of the harbour and shops at Chania, the mountain drive to the resistance museum at Theriso, The archaeological site at Aptera and the fantastic beach at Falassarna with yet another archaeological gem.
We have savoured the warm friendship of the Cretan people and are already planning our next visit next year.

If only we could take a little of your sunshine home with us-and the pool!
We have thoroushly enjoyed the luxury of the Villa,every-thing we needed provided & more. The view is magnificent and a delight to get up to each morning.
This year the wedding has been a wonderful occasion but we would very happily holiday here another year-even without this extra special reason to visit.
Thank you for your kind hospitality and gifts of food and wine. We have had yet another wonderful holiday in CRETE.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at one of your beautiful homes. We feel truly blessed! There will be times I'm sure in the weeks and months ahead when both Shirley and I will look back and wish we were back here relaxing by the pool or gazing out over the Veranda at the gorgeous Ocean below or the wonderful mountains above. Soon we will be back to our busy careers but the serenity of this peaceful stay will be with us in our hearts. It has been wonderful and we cannot find words that would justify how great our vacation was because of our stay here. When I think of of Greek Culture I think of Helen who exemplifies family, friends, pride and good food. All great ingredients for a great life! The Villa and its surroundings exceeded our expectations,it was far better than the website images suggested. It is a beautiful and relaxing spot-very peaceful to allow everyone to chill out; but also very near the city of Chania and the beaches and restaurants along the coast. Anyone who visits can enjoy the best of both worlds!
We had fantastic weather(blue cloudless skies) it was difficult to persuade the children away from the swimming pool to explore Crete!
We recommend a visit to Lake Kournas and the Samaria Gorge.
We enjoyed our stay so much that your Villa is definitetly on our list and plans that we could revisit (and recommend to friends)
One final note: the hospitality shown by Helen and Mike and the warmth they displayed was the icing on the cake!
